On a mission to support...

The Toyota Tour de OROC, an initiative of the Rotary Club of Dubbo South, is a unique biennial cycling event running from 6 to 12 October 2025. Covering more than 800 kilometres across the Orana Region, it is one of the longest and most rewarding charity rides on the Australian calendar.

First held in 2013, the ride was established to raise funds for Macquarie Home Stay—an essential accommodation facility for people from regional and remote communities needing medical treatment in Dubbo. Since then, the Tour and the Rotary Club of Dubbo South have contributed over $1 million towards the facility, which officially opened its doors in 2019.

Funds raised through this year’s ride will support the Stage Three expansion of Macquarie Home Stay, which includes the addition of much-needed family accommodation. Your involvement not only helps make this vision a reality, but also demonstrates to government and funding bodies that this is a project backed wholeheartedly by the community.

Exploring Oz on our bicycles is one of our favourite things to do — and if we can do it while raising money for a great cause, even better!

We completed our first Tour de OROC in 2024 and enjoyed it so much, we're back again this year! The long, flat days in the saddle through the Central West were an enjoyable challenge, made even better by the friendships forged along the way.

One of the biggest highlights was hearing stories and meeting people in the towns we rode through who’ve directly benefited from Macquarie Homestay. It gave us a much deeper appreciation of the hurdles people face when accessing health services in western NSW.

We're really looking forward to this year’s ride and the opportunity to once again support such a vital service.

Thank you for your encouragement and support in our fundraising efforts — it truly makes a difference!
