On a mission to support...

The Toyota Tour de OROC, an initiative of the Rotary Club of Dubbo South, is a unique biennial cycling event running from 6 to 12 October 2025. Covering more than 800 kilometres across the Orana Region, it is one of the longest and most rewarding charity rides on the Australian calendar.

First held in 2013, the ride was established to raise funds for Macquarie Home Stay—an essential accommodation facility for people from regional and remote communities needing medical treatment in Dubbo. Since then, the Tour and the Rotary Club of Dubbo South have contributed over $1 million towards the facility, which officially opened its doors in 2019.

Funds raised through this year’s ride will support the Stage Three expansion of Macquarie Home Stay, which includes the addition of much-needed family accommodation. Your involvement not only helps make this vision a reality, but also demonstrates to government and funding bodies that this is a project backed wholeheartedly by the community.

Cycling for Community: Why I Support Tour de OROC

Tuesday 16th Sep

The Tour de OROC means a lot to me. Last time I rode it was tough, but finishing was such a good feeling. What really stuck with me, though, was hearing from people in country towns about how much Macquarie Home Stay has helped them and their families during medical treatment.

Living in far western NSW, getting to healthcare isn’t easy, and Macquarie Home Stay gives people comfort and support when they need it most. That’s why this ride is more than just cycling, it’s about standing with our communities and making a real difference.
