On a mission to support...

The Toyota Tour de OROC, an initiative of the Rotary Club of Dubbo South, is a unique biennial cycling event running from 6 to 12 October 2025. Covering more than 800 kilometres across the Orana Region, it is one of the longest and most rewarding charity rides on the Australian calendar.

First held in 2013, the ride was established to raise funds for Macquarie Home Stay—an essential accommodation facility for people from regional and remote communities needing medical treatment in Dubbo. Since then, the Tour and the Rotary Club of Dubbo South have contributed over $1 million towards the facility, which officially opened its doors in 2019.

Funds raised through this year’s ride will support the Stage Three expansion of Macquarie Home Stay, which includes the addition of much-needed family accommodation. Your involvement not only helps make this vision a reality, but also demonstrates to government and funding bodies that this is a project backed wholeheartedly by the community.

Kate Spicer - farmer, cyclist, carb guzzler

Just a cattle farmer with a penchant for cycling, I mostly ride to enjoy the scenery/stare at other people’s farms & eat more peanut butter sandwiches/cookies but when OROC comes around suddenly there’s real purpose. Blessed to be able to ride for such a worthy cause & join in fundraising for further development of the Macquarie Homestay. This is my third edition, each year I learn more about the services provided & the people benefiting from this wonderful facility.
Please consider making a donation, Macquarie Homestay is making a big difference to the lives of rural people just like you & me.
