On a mission to support...

The Toyota Tour de OROC, an initiative of the Rotary Club of Dubbo South, is a unique biennial cycling event running from 6 to 12 October 2025. Covering more than 800 kilometres across the Orana Region, it is one of the longest and most rewarding charity rides on the Australian calendar.

First held in 2013, the ride was established to raise funds for Macquarie Home Stay—an essential accommodation facility for people from regional and remote communities needing medical treatment in Dubbo. Since then, the Tour and the Rotary Club of Dubbo South have contributed over $1 million towards the facility, which officially opened its doors in 2019.

Funds raised through this year’s ride will support the Stage Three expansion of Macquarie Home Stay, which includes the addition of much-needed family accommodation. Your involvement not only helps make this vision a reality, but also demonstrates to government and funding bodies that this is a project backed wholeheartedly by the community.

🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Ian Crafter – Ironman with a Mission

From the red dirt of Dubbo to the finish line of one of the world’s toughest endurance races, Ian Crafter knows what it means to push limits. A proud member of the Dubbo Hippos Triathlon Club and a full Ironman finisher, Ian has spent years chasing personal bests across swim, bike, and run. But now, he’s racing for something bigger.

As the owner of Atlex—a business deeply rooted in regional Australia—Ian understands the importance of community, connection, and care. That’s why he’s raising funds for Macquarie Home Stay, a vital service that provides affordable accommodation for patients and families traveling to Dubbo for medical treatment. It’s a lifeline for rural and remote families facing some of life’s toughest moments.

💬 “If I can finish an Ironman, I can help make sure others have a place to stay when they need it most.”
