On a mission to support...

The Toyota Tour de OROC, an initiative of the Rotary Club of Dubbo South, is a unique biennial cycling event running from 6 to 12 October 2025. Covering more than 800 kilometres across the Orana Region, it is one of the longest and most rewarding charity rides on the Australian calendar.

First held in 2013, the ride was established to raise funds for Macquarie Home Stay—an essential accommodation facility for people from regional and remote communities needing medical treatment in Dubbo. Since then, the Tour and the Rotary Club of Dubbo South have contributed over $1 million towards the facility, which officially opened its doors in 2019.

Funds raised through this year’s ride will support the Stage Three expansion of Macquarie Home Stay, which includes the addition of much-needed family accommodation. Your involvement not only helps make this vision a reality, but also demonstrates to government and funding bodies that this is a project backed wholeheartedly by the community.

Im DOING IT

Friday 3rd Oct

I am raising funds for the Macquarie Home Stay because I am inspired by their work. The difference they have made to so many people is just extraordinary and I know there are so many others that would benefit from their having a place to stay in times of need. But they need more funding to make that happen, particularly for families. So please support the construction of family accommodation by donating to me, as I know they will appreciate every cent received. And I will be very grateful for your contribution too!

Also, this year I am making a special effort not to be the crankiest rider on Tour, I know its a big ask, but the councilling has helped. Fingers Crossed.

I would also be very grateful for you to share the link to this fundraising page to your friends and family. The more people who can help the better!

Thank you, Shero
