On a mission to support...

The Toyota Tour de OROC, an initiative of the Rotary Club of Dubbo South, is a unique biennial cycling event running from 6 to 12 October 2025. Covering more than 800 kilometres across the Orana Region, it is one of the longest and most rewarding charity rides on the Australian calendar.

First held in 2013, the ride was established to raise funds for Macquarie Home Stay—an essential accommodation facility for people from regional and remote communities needing medical treatment in Dubbo. Since then, the Tour and the Rotary Club of Dubbo South have contributed over $1 million towards the facility, which officially opened its doors in 2019.

Funds raised through this year’s ride will support the Stage Three expansion of Macquarie Home Stay, which includes the addition of much-needed family accommodation. Your involvement not only helps make this vision a reality, but also demonstrates to government and funding bodies that this is a project backed wholeheartedly by the community.

I am fundraising for Macquarie Homestay

First time rider (in an any form of organised bike ride event) so why night make it a challenge and take on Tour de Oroc.
After being involved as a committee member for the previous ride I have been inspired to take on the ride to further support the fundraising to build additional short term accommodation for residents of Central and Western NSW at Macquarie Homestay requiring medical services in Dubbo.

Well done for doing this Rockett; its an amazing cause as discussed in Dubbo. My experience with riding as a middle aged man is the only thing worse is horses or ice skating. Good luck!
