On a mission to support...

The Toyota Tour de OROC, an initiative of the Rotary Club of Dubbo South, is a unique biennial cycling event running from 6 to 12 October 2025. Covering more than 800 kilometres across the Orana Region, it is one of the longest and most rewarding charity rides on the Australian calendar.

First held in 2013, the ride was established to raise funds for Macquarie Home Stay—an essential accommodation facility for people from regional and remote communities needing medical treatment in Dubbo. Since then, the Tour and the Rotary Club of Dubbo South have contributed over $1 million towards the facility, which officially opened its doors in 2019.

Funds raised through this year’s ride will support the Stage Three expansion of Macquarie Home Stay, which includes the addition of much-needed family accommodation. Your involvement not only helps make this vision a reality, but also demonstrates to government and funding bodies that this is a project backed wholeheartedly by the community.

Rider Bio

Jemima and I are doing it again, we love riding, we are passionate about the Macquarie Home Stay.

The Home Stay provides an essential service to people from the communities where we have both spent time! And we dont want to see people foregoing medical treatment because they have no where to stay.

Get behind this great cause by sponsoring us, every dollar is going into a self contained family unit, one of 5 that makes up the Stage 3 development.

Day 1. Dubbo - Warren

Monday 6th Oct
We made it, to the start line that is. And a relief it was to be on the road after 18 months of planning, and great to have over 40 riders roll out the gates of the @Macquarie Home Stay this morning. And thanks to the Hwy Patrol escort we made it out of Dubbo to the Collie Road without incident on a reasonable hectic highway!
A rare treat for OROC riders was lunch at the Collie Hotel, where we dined on Buter Chicken and Beef Vindaloo, much better than wraps and sangas!
Conditions only became more pleasant for the afternoon, with a gentle westerly and sunny conditions!  And we were blessed to be joined by Warrens cycling elite! Including the Mayor. Off to the Windows on the Wetlands for dinner.
And a big shout out to the Warren Historical Society, who showed us through the very impressive WAM (Warren Art Museum)

Ryan Murray - more than just a KOM sniffa!

Big shout out to Ryan Murray, built us an awesome trailer, sponsoring riders and just an all-round legend! Thanks Mate!
